George Niblock and Gillian Cockcroft are south Oakville specialists, living and working in downtown Oakville.
George is a longtime Oakville resident having attended French Immersion schooling at E.J.James in southeast Oakville, Oakville Trafalgar High School and going on to study at McGill University. George started his real estate career at age 25 in 1999. With a lifelong passion for residential architecture, entrepreneurialism and for working with people, real estate was a natural fit for George.
George is Vice President of the Oakville Lakeside Resident’s Association and regularly volunteers input to Town of Oakville projects including: Downtown Oakville Growth Area Review; First and Second Street Heritage Conservation District Update; Cultural Hub; South Central Public Lands Study.
George and Gillian are contributors to the Oakville United Way Campaign and various local charities.
George and Gillian both joined Royal LePage in downtown Oakville at the same time and discovered synergies to their respective businesses. It became a natural fit to form a business partnership. Quickly the partnership grew and they were ranked in the Top 1% of Royal LePage, Canada’s largest brokerage, receiving the prestigious National Chairman’s Club Award in 2012 and 2014.
Both George and Gill have found long term success is rooted in happy clients. Put the client’s best interests first and business will follow. They maintain excellent relations with other local agents, noting that this is a cooperative business and these relationships frequently benefit their clients. Through attending Royal LePage National Chairman’s Club retreats they have formed a national network of top realtors to share ideas but also referrals of clientele relocating across Canada.
